Webinar/Webcasts
What is it: Think keynote presentation or panel discussion where your message is at the center of the stage. Typically
presenters share prepared remarks and often will field questions from the audience that can be sent in via text chat or asked over
an audio connection. Events range from one to two hours in length normally and can be delivered with the audience following along
with the materials in real-time on their computer screen with audio either heard through their computer or over the phone. Recordings
of these events are also a great way to continue your efforts long after the live event has taken place.
What purpose do they
serve: Webinars/Webcasts are extremely effective in sharing a message with a large group of people and for communicating three to
five key themes to the audience. These events are well suited for:
· Marketing, Product Promotion, and Lead Generation
· Vendor Communications and Updates
· Public Affairs and Media Relations
· Light Training (provided free or at a fee to attendees)
What is it: Think of these as more intimate and informative delivery format. Events can range from three to five sessions and
are designed to take an attendee below the high level content that is delivered in a single event. eWorkshops are specifically designed
to incorporate a higher degree of audience participation and incorporate various online tools to keep attendees engaged and learning.
Typical events of this format range from two to three hours in length and would have between two and six total sessions and allow
the audience to following along with the materials in real-time on their computer screen with audio either heard through their computer
or over the phone.
What purpose do they serve: eWorkshop style events are focused on quickly and effectively delivering in-depth
information to small and medium size audiences. This format allows the presenter to explore more detailed and complex subjects with
attendees from the comfort of their offices or home. These events are well suited for:
· Product Promotion
· Revenue Generation
· Vendor Communications
· In-depth training (provided free or at a fee to attendees)
Online
Training Classes
What is it: Think of these a college classroom where students gather and an instructor who leads the discussion and
works with the students to share knowledge and training. These events are highly interactive, with all attendees having the ability
to talk with the instructor and each other. Through the incorporation of online technologies the experience of a face-to-face classroom
is reproduced with collaborative exercises, whiteboard discussions, and event breakout activities. Typical events will range from
two to three hours in length and may have between four and eight sessions over several weeks.
What purpose do they serve: With
today’s busy schedules and the rising cost of travel, Online Training Classes allow for instructors and attendees to meet in a more
cost effective and convenient way. Focused on interactive training and discussions, these events take attendees in-depth on a specific
set of topics. These events are well suited for:
· Employee training
· Revenue Generation
· Professional Development
